After purchasing your cashmere jumper, one of the questions you’ll be wondering is what to pair with a cashmere jumper?  Should you wear a short sleeve shirt or a long sleeve shirt?  What looks best?  Here are a few ideas.

1.     Try to wear something that is more fitted.  It should be tighter around your body since the jumper dress is usually more loose.  This will make you look slimmer.  Otherwise, if you just wear it with something loose, you will look like you have no shape.

2.    Add tights or leggings that compliment the jumper.  Most of the time, black tights or leggings will look great with lots of jumpers.  If the color is more neutral such as grey or black or tan, you can add a pair of colorful leggings or tights.  Otherwise, stay with black on the bottom.

3.    Add a pair of chunky shoes.  The jumper is a fun piece to wear so don’t wear it with conservative shoes.  It will look better if you wear it with something chunky such as boots.

4.    Consider wearing something warm over it like a cashmere cardigan.  This will keep your entire body warm.  While the cashmere jumper is very warm, having that extra layer will really help, especially if your jumper is short or you decide not to wear tights or leggings underneath.  Your other option is a blazer which will help give you that fitted look.

5.    Accessorize and add jewelry or a scarf.  The other idea is to wear it with a larger belt.  The belt will give the jumper a whole new look.

Before doing any of these things, take a look at the jumper you bought.  You may have bought a trendier one with lots of details which don’t require accessories.  Or, you may have bought something that is much more conservative that you can dress up.  Depending on what style jumper dress you bought, you should pick and choose from the above suggestions to create your outfit.
